A fine mahogany bracket clock, with silvered break arch dial, by Robert Wood and dating from c.1790.

The bell top case has fine veneers, surmounted with gilt urn finials over fish scale frets and carrying handles to the sides, on gilded bracket feet.

The eight day movement has an engraved backplate, and strikes on a bell.

One-piece silvered dial, with bold engraved chapter rings, subsidiary date dial and strike / silent to the arch, and signed for the maker.
