A mechanical 8-day polished brass timepiece carriage clock, signed on the dial for Mappin & Webb Ltd. This clock probably dates from the 1980s.
The case is of polished and lacquered brass, with fluted pillars to the corners, topped with turned finials and with a folding fluted carrying handle. The case is fitted with five perfect beveled glasses.
The white painted dial with black Roman numerals is is set within a gilt filigree mask and is in excellent condition.
The eight day movement has a jewelled lever platform escapement.
Overhauled and guaranteed for 3 years.
