The mahogany case has fan ears, the curved base with reeded mouldings and a pendulum access door.
The polished and lacquered cast brass bezel is key-locked, fitted with domed glass to the 12-inch, convex, painted dial.
Samuel Jones is listed in Kent Clockmakers and Watchmakers by Michael Pearson as working between 1826-51
