A delightful small carriage clock timepiece in solid silver, dating from 1901.

The case is in excellent condition, the delicate scroll handle folding both ways. It has four bun feet, two supporting the front, and two on the hinged rear door. The case has an engraving on the top, in beautiful script  –  M G 30th June 1905. The door, handle and inner case are hallmarked, with stamps from the Birmingham assay office dating from 1901, and with the makers mark C & C, for Cohen & Charles.

The French eight-day timepiece movement has a cylinder platform escapement. The fold-flat key is affixed to the movement.

Perfect white enamel 1½ inch dial with fine matching hands.

The movement is overhauled and guaranteed for 3 years.
