An electric mantel clock by The Eureka Clock Company, dated 1911, fully overhauled and guaranteed for 3 years.
The mahogany five glass case has beveled glasses to all sides, all in perfect condition. The deep base conceals the battery pack. A brass plaque mounted on the base states that the clock was presented by The Territorial Red Cross Society in 1911.
The 4-inch white enamel dial is signed EUREKA CLOCK CO LTD/LONDON with blued steel hands.
The movement is stamped NO. 7193/PATENT NO 14614/1906. The wheel rotates back and forth through 270°, making this an interesting clock to behold.
Designed in America, the Eureka Clock Company in London, England made these clocks between 1908 and 1914.
