1930s Poole electric clock – Executive Model


Currently going through the workshops is this American Poole electric clock by Morse Chain Company, Ithaca, New York, as detailed on the dial.

In excellent original condition, mounted on a wooden base and under a glass dome, the clock has a cylindrical battery holder.

The electrical movement uses a hipp toggle mechanism to impulse the pendulum.

From information gleaned from NAWCC’s “150 Years of Electric Horology” , the clock will date from c.1932-1934.

To be overhauled and guaranteed for 3 years.
