Currently going through the workshops is this American Poole electric clock by Morse Chain Company, Ithaca, New York, as detailed on the dial.
In excellent original condition, mounted on a wooden base and under a glass dome, the clock has a cylindrical battery holder.
The electrical movement uses a hipp toggle mechanism to impulse the pendulum.
From information gleaned from NAWCC’s “150 Years of Electric Horology” , the clock will date from c.1932-1934.
To be overhauled and guaranteed for 3 years.
