A large oak-cased fusee timepiece dial clock, 20 inches in diameter, dating from around 1860-70. The whole clock has aged beautifully and is full of character.
The original 16 inch dial has a crazed cream painted finish, signed for Russells', 18 Church Street, Liverpool.
Original heavy counter-balanced spade hands.
The clock has a good quality eight-day fusee timepiece movement with dead-beat escapement, tapered plates and shaped pillars.
The price includes a full overhaul and a 3 year guarantee.
