A Vineyard style 12" dial clock by Kraentzel Fils, à Charleroi.
The movement is set within an octagonal black painted back box. The dial surround, being an outer and inner ring of ebonised wood enclosing a paint-effect walnut centre is hinged from above. The case, laquer-work and paint-work are all in excellent condition.
It has a spun brass bezel and convex glass.
The 12" glass dial is complete, and is back painted with Roman numerals.
Original matching fancy hands.
The eight day twin barrel movement strikes on a soft mellow coiled gong, mounted on the back board.
