A good Georgian brass-inlaid rosewood bracket clock by Durrant, London, dating from the 1830s-40s.
The shallow arched top rosewood case has cast brass foliate ring handles and fish scale side frets, canted front corners and door surround inlaid with brass foliate scrolls, on a ripple moulded base on ball feet.
The 5½" arched silvered Roman dial is engraved with the maker's signature set within shaded foliage.
The twin fusee movement has anchor escapement striking on a bell, and a lockable pendulum
