A pretty small-proportioned gilt and onyx French four glass clock, dated c.1900.
The 3" white enamelled dial has a floral garland decoration, and Arabic numerals, with elaborate gilt hands, and an engine turned bezel.
The unsigned eight day movement strikes on a gong, with a decorative mercury compensated pendulum.
The case has an onyx plinth and top, with gilded metal pillars and base sections, the gilding being in excellent condition.
