A majestic break arch oak case, carved with floral decoration, with fluted quarter pillars to the sides, and surmounted a pagoda top, with five pineapple finials. The side frets are backed with silk. Lockable rear door fitted with a silk backed diamond fretted metal sheet.
The substantial (unsigned) four pillar eight day movement strikes on a coiled gong, and has a locking pendulum, for transportation.
6" convex silvered Roman dial, with regulation square at 12 o'clock. It is faced with a cast brass bezel, fitted with convex bevelled glass.
Original steel moon hands.
