An 18th century oak longcase clock, the 12" brass dial signed Robert Davey, Hoveton.

The decorative case has a fretted pediment and plinth apron, the arched door with radiating marquetry lunette and herringbone stringing.

The break arch dial has a silvered ring in the arch, framing a rocking ship automaton, and engraved The Royal George. The silvered Roman chapter has subsidiary seconds to the centre, silvered name plate and date aperture, with cast spandrels to the corners.

Eight day movement, rack striking on a bell.
