A fine quality polished brass striking carriage clock from L'Epee - a Swiss company who have been making clocks since 1839.

The superior mechanical Swiss 8 day 11-jewel Calibre 1750 movement strikes the hours and the passing of the half hour on a gong.

This "grande" sized case, standing 6 1/4 inches high, is a reproduction of an "Anglaise" made by Couaillet Freres of St Nicolas d'Aliermont in 1931.

White face, with black Roman numerals, Breguet style hands and an outer dial marking the passing of the minutes.
