A 19th Century brass-cased desk clock and barometer set, with thermometer, by Russell, Malvern, with original gilding in excellent condition.
This has two 2-inch circular drum-head housings:
The timepiece clock has a white dial having Roman hours and Arabic minutes framing the inscription "RUSSELL / MALVERN", its movement with a vertically-mounted lever platform escapement on an oval platform.
The matching white-dial aneroid barometer reads from 27 to 31 inches of pressure, the reverse with silvered thermometer, featuring a Fahrenheit scale and horseshoe-shaped mercury tube.
The twin housings are mounted on a gilded turned stem with suspension loop, on a spreading bell-shaped foot stamped beneath '550 / R'.
