A very unusual mahogany cased mercury wheel barometer with translucent glass 12" dial signed W. Hintons, Patent no. 15, London.
The simple mahogany case has scrolling, a concave section cast brass bezel fitted with flat bevelled glass, over a wooden hand set knob.
It has a mercury thermometer in a shaped box with translucent plate in the trunk.
