A fine English wheel barometer, dating from c.1835, in a case with lovely mahogany veneers, edged with stringing, topped with a broken pediment with a brass vase ornament.

Detachable (signed) hygrometer and mercury Fahrenheit theremometer.

The bold engraved silvered 10" dial has a brass hand, surrounded by a heavy cast concave brass bezel, fitted with flat glass. The set hand is operated by a detachable brass knob via a pulley system.
