An attractive small wall barometer dated 1869-79.
The solid oak case is in excellent original condition.
The 4 ½" silvered dial has a very fine patterned engraved centre, above a curved mercury thermometer. It is signed for J.H. Steward, with several of their London addresses. It is numbered 1843.
Piloshed and lacquered concave brass bezel, to the bevelled glass fitted with a brass pointer knob.
